A native of the Oregon Coast, Travis Moncrief has been chasing salmon and steelhead for decades and has now been guiding full time for nearly 15 years. Often featured in top-notch magazines like Salmon & Steelhead Journal, Moncrief spends a great deal of time in Tillamook Bay and on the Trask River, Wilson River, Nestucca River, Siletz River, Kilchis River and the Columbia River, where he chases primarily salmon and steelhead. He also fishes the ocean when conditions are favorable. Both power boat and drift boat trips available. Specializing in day, multiple day and corporate trips Moncrief guides out of a jet and drift boat. In the summer, Moncrief owns and operates a full scale king salmon camp on the famed Nushagak River in Alaska. The Nushagak boast the largest run of “Kings” not only in the state of Alaska, but the world.
